About the event
Route Overview
Starting from Upper Pisang, a traditional Tibetan stone village at 3,300 meters, this trail winds upward along the scenic Himalayan ridge. The route leads through lush pine forests and traverses exposed scree slopes, with the Manang Valley and surrounding hamlets gradually disappearing beneath a sea of rolling clouds.
The focus of this experience is not to reach the 6,091-meter summit of Pisang Peak, but to take part in deep alpine exploration and high-altitude cultural engagement. Following a challenging single-day vertical ascent of approximately 1,000 meters, hikers reach the plateau yak pasture at 4,300 meters. Here, visitors encounter yak herds grazing peacefully beside traditional stone windbreaks, experiencing firsthand the enduring rhythm of Himalayan pastoral life.
