2026 NTUST International Volunteer Team Travels to Nepal: Documenting Upper Pisang Heritage through Landscape Imagery and Culinary Exchange

1 min read

We documented the natural landscapes and village environment of Upper Pisang by photographing mountain views, local architecture, and surrounding scenery from different perspectives. These representative images were collected as visual materials for future tourism promotion and local attraction guides.

We documented local food culture and cultural exchange activities, including the preparation of apple pie and the experience of drinking butter tea. Upper Pisang is known for its locally grown apples, and our team used local ingredients to teach residents how to make apple pie, creating an opportunity for cultural exchange through food. We also recorded the local experience of drinking butter tea to showcase the distinctive food culture and lifestyle of the community. The photographs and videos will be used as materials for future cultural introductions and tourism promotion.
