2026 NTUST International Volunteer Team Travels to Nepal: Launching the Pisang Story House through Site Preparation and Community Opening

After a long period of preparation and planning, the Story House officially opened on August 4, 2026. On the day before the opening, the NTUST USR team visited the site to assist with cleaning, organizing the space, and arranging materials. The necessary items were organized according to the layout of the space to prepare for the opening event the following day.

On the opening day, the Story House welcomed local residents, as well as hikers passing through the area who stopped by out of curiosity. Tea, coffee, and delicious apple pie were prepared for visitors, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere where residents and travelers could explore and become familiar with the Story House. The gathering also added a welcoming sense of interaction and sharing to the new space.

From the initial preparation and organization of the space to the official opening, the NTUST USR team actively participated by assisting with site preparation and event support. The Story House was successfully opened, and visitors from different backgrounds gradually came in throughout the day. This marked the beginning of the Story House as a space for interaction between the local community and visitors, laying a foundation for future community engagement and cultural exchange.
